Speed awareness course + at a small cost plus loss of 2-3 hours of your life.
Last one I went to was a good 4 hours of being patronised and given incorrect and misleading info on speed limits on commercial vehicles by a registrar, who probably should stick to deaths and births.Still better than points as its no increase in insurance.

First time in iver 15 years.
Last time was a course, what’s the guesses this time?
SAC, they don't have to offer but may well.First time in iver 15 years.

38 is FNP so 3 points and £100 if you accept the conditional offer, unless you want to role the dice and go for court which will almost always be more with victim surcharge unless your broke.
With any luck one PH Brake members will pop along to lecture you on killing children and tell you that 38 in 30 is a FATAL 5 and your one step removed for a murderer taking such a liberty.

Oh really ?
Ok, thanks
Yes I believe once the FPN is sent within the 14 days to registered keeper they have 6 months from time of offence to set a court date or process your acceptance and add the endorsement.Ok, thanks
So I assume we are around 6-8 weeks since the offence, so they could take 4 months.
It goes to the SEU and then they send the licence for endorsement, fine goes to MOJ.

OP Ignore, people are confusing this with time limits to raise an SJPN, you are well inside FP / SAC territory, so if everything is returned promptly, you are likely to get the offer within 2 months or so of the offence, if they were going to take 4 or 5 months then an offer of a course would become unviable and they would also be risking the offence timing out
The OP asked for a time limit, as there is no time limit on them replying to you (Other than 6 Mths). Was the OP not the named driver on the FPN?
Last time I had one of these it was 36 in 30 right passed the 40 sign on what used to be red light camera and I was offered a SAC on the first FPN. That was about 6 years ago now.
Probs a SAC. I was done for 36 in a 30 for zero seconds (and then 31 on the second reading) and got a SAC. Annoying as it was a 60 to 30 into a village. Last caught in 2007.
Cost £90 for a virtual course (yet to take). I'm happy enough with the outcome and just see it as a cost of motoring now.

at the beginning of the year.Speed awareness course was £92, the cheeky b
ds even have the front to charge you £30 if you need to change the date after booking it......or for a 'small' £5 charge you can re-arrange it as much as you want....Anyways.....My SAC was 2.5 hours long and we had a fairly good group and had a bit of a laugh as well. I can't say the person who led the SAC was condescending or anything which is how I thought the course would be, with us saying sorry a million times....

That bit I'm fairly confident on that part but I thought being able to take one was a one time affair? If you qualify on your first offence you get one, but if you don't or it's your 2nd+ offence, you never get that opportunity?
