Wow,for the first time in a long time, i've just seen an advert which shows a group of kids mucking around by a road and then as one crosses without looking,he gets run over by a car.

The caption says,"He wishes he wasn't one of the 55 kids each week who doesn't look before crossing the road".(or similar)

Good to see an advert for making pedestrians aware that the road is a dangerous place.I thought the government had all but abandoned the green cross code in favour of persecuting the driver for everything.

About bloody time!!

Its a shame i still have to watch that ad where the girl is dead by a tree and then comes back to life. If she was able to watch the road she wouldn't be in that position in the first place!!

That’s got to be a good thing. However, I would go further and target these adverts at parents because it is ultimately their responsibility to ensure their offspring are properly educated for such dangers. A hard-hitting advert focussing on parents facing the consequences (identification, intimidating court case and threat of jail) and reacting accordingly, will be enough to make most think!

Ah think.. This action does appear to be beyond rather a large sector of the populace...

That and take responsibility for ones own actions...

I couldn't agree more. Especially as the way her bones mend and joints relocate and fact that she slides across the road (in reverse time) suggests to me that some psycho has clobbered her, dragged her to the tree and then busted her frail frame.

Ah! Psycho = driver, obviously.
