Not sure if this should be here or finance...

I am self employed, and am owed a few hundred by an individual for services. They have been quite unpleasant via email ad are now not replying, so after having sent 3 invoices and a couple of official emails saying that I would be taking legal recourse, further charges may be added etc., this is where I am.

I am just in the middle of filing the MCOL but I see that my address will be shared with the person I am claiming from. I'm not mad keen on this as they're a bit of a narcissist and I could see them coming around and keying the car/slashing tyres. There is the option of using a correspondence address "address for service" - will this replace my home address on the paperwork, or will both be included?

I can't answer your question about the address, but I assume that you are aware that, even if you win the case, you will still need to actually get the money from this individual.

If they are as unpleasant as you mention, that may not be a trivial exercise.

Good luck!

Thanks, yes I am aware but the alternative is letting them take the piss out of me, so for the sake of £35 it's worth a shot.

Can you elaborate? Will my home address still be sent?
