Hi all

I was in a taxi the other night and someone hit us, minor damage to the cars and my head got a small bump.

How do I go about claiming myself rather than a claims company who will cut the compensation in half I assume?

Cheers
A small bump?! There’s no wonder we all pay so much for insurance.

As above, no wonder many pay through the nose for insurance because of bloody pointless and unnecessary claims.

Based on a recent thread by the OP, he doesn't seem to be a big fan of the medical profession right now.... Maybe the no win no fee lawyer he wants to use for surgery compensation could help here too

Could you not use the same solicitor you're looking for to sue the NHS?

It’s not all about the horrific physical injury though, it’s important to consider the long term psychological effects of being involved in such a serious smash. It sounds like the OP is lucky to be able to type this thread.

Actually, he might have had a regression or delayed effects because he’s not been back recently.

Doubt you can sue over a pre-existing case of brain damage. You're an absolute loon.
