There's a guy on a bicycle going around filming drivers, without their permission, then shopping them to the BiB's.
How on Earth can this stand the test in court when he's not a BiB???

Not wanting to feed the troll, but why on earth would he need permission to film in a public place?

Seems a touch sad but there is no right to privacy when in a public place. Or, if on camera, a need for footage to have come from a police officer. Not sure why you think otherwise.

Whether you think he is doing a good thing or not is more debatable though.

I think he's a complete tool but he doesn't need permission to film in a public place, and of course non-police video can be used as evidence - how would CCTV footage ever be used, otherwise?

I'm surprised you've only just come across him, to be honest, he's been very well known for a long time.

I don't get it?

"I think I've just witnessed a murder and I have it all on camera"

"Sorry we can't use your footage you're not a Police Officer"

You get the idea.

Cretin? I'd direct that at the driver of the 2 tonne vehicle who is texting or watching YouTube instead of concentrating on driving, like they are mandated to by law.

So, in other words, the cretin is the one breaking the law...

He's an annoying self righteous git but he's not doing anything illegal. I'm surprised more people are not doing this, I guess there is nothing tangible in return apart from smug satisfaction ( or a broken jaw ). If you really wanted to up the hit rate then sending out Bluetooth broadcast messages when passing a stationary line of traffic and then filming the punters touching their phones might work laugh

Grumps.

It's a well known fact that only evidence from BiB is admissible in court. This is why you never hear the police appeal for witnesses to crimes to come forward and give statements.

Without going near the link and going only off the description and reaction on here its got to be Mikey again.

To me its the videoed collision between two utter s. The driver for being hopeless dheads and Mikey for being a smug bellend.

An honourable mention goes to the council who have a junction so badly designed that it continually creates this situation.

I think this sums it up perfectly.

Love Mikey

Really pleased when these links pop up, driving even more revenue his way

It's a lovely warm feeling to know he's catching these wkers, pissing idiots off who think laws don't apply to them, because they need to grow the fk up and except they live in a world with other people, all the while, being paid to do so.

Excellent!!

I first saw him in Regents Park and looked up his YouTube channel, the problem is people put themselves in a position where he can exercise his brand of self righteousness.
Don’t use the phone and don’t cut right hand corners in Regents Park but I’ve noticed some of his cycling videos are becoming more subjective and he seems to look for beef in traffic now.
The problem with neurotic people is that have more time for their obsession than most others so he’ll keep doing it until he finds a new obsession

Why would ‘Cyclists’ be any more likely to love him than any other random grouping of individuals? Presumably a significant number of ‘Drivers’ caught by him also ride bikes at times?

It's a public place. They can film what they want. Don't break the law in public if you don't want it filmed.

Quite a few in my experience - it seems to be most noticeable at traffic lights, you see a gap appearing and wonder why the car behind isn't moving off.
