51 in a 40 !

Not in my Porker but my works Golf Diesel, 51mph in a 40 zone!
One of those ones where you are coming out of a city, onto a motorway (M56 out of Manchester) and put your foot down a little too early!

I got a NIPS (notice of intending prosecution), having been caught on camera. Is it a fair cop or any suggestions such as evidence, calibration, plod turning up to court etc?

Clean licence for over 15 years. Gits!!

Grateful for any advice on how I could 'worm myself' out of this.

Cameras there? I've never seen one, except the one near McDonalds and the Texaco.

Paperwork I presume was sent to your employees as reg keeper of the vehicle. If you cannot disprove that it was sent out to be received by last post of the 15th day from the offence then, all together:

If he's 2nd in the NIP chain, then a PACE defence is even stronger IMO. Depends whether he's up for a fight or not....

Thanks Chaps. Yes I'm definitely up for a fight. Clean licence, law abiding citizen and all that.. Unless of course you think this is a waste of time and they're likely to through the book at me!
I don't recall being flashed!

The offence as I say, 51 in a 40mph zone. Allegedly caught on 14/7, NIPs issued to me 19th August. Company car though so presume they have traced me through my employer.

PACE was mentioned. I'm going to look at the site a couple of yhou have kindly recommended. Thank you and any further guidance gratefully rec'd.
