Google seems to think that while FPNs wont show up, a ban for multiple FPNs probably will, so it's time to be honest with HR smile

The basic CRB came back fine. Waiting on an enhanced one which seems to be stuck at stage 4 ?

My personal opinion is that a base level CRB would be more helpful in making suitability decisions if it showed that the person was incapable of learning the lessons provided by things like FPNs, but that's because I'm grumpy.

Tbf, unless it`s a driving job I doubt your employer would care about it. Our form actually says offences other than speeding. Depending on the agency used, some checks are taking a while at the moment.

Doesn't sound the least bit grumpy, in fact I feel you've been somewhat generous with OP. I'd say it paints a picture of somebody who feels laws don't apply to him.

Agreed, which could potentially make any employer certainly think twice.

And of course you always travel at the speed limit as does everyone else, PH often stands for Pompous Heads rather than Piston.

Not at all. What people are hinting at is that if they found themselves on 6 or 9 points, they might just, at that point, become very very boring, safe, legal, beyond reproach, drivers. Getting to 6 or 9 points (I’m guessing at that part) and still getting points is almost than a little silly.

Whether the employer cares or not isn’t the question though. It’s whether it affects the outcome of the enhance criminal record check.

It doesn't matter what's on a DBS.

You should have had that conversation with an employer long before they ever spot anything on a DBS.

They can then risk assess (if required) against it. Nothing stopping anyone with anything (in reason clearly), it's more for alerting employers to people trying to hide things.

You need to be discussing the ban with your employer well before they receive your DBS.

(that said I thought it was only a custodial sentence for driving)
