Anyone know anything about this type of red light camera?

1. Would it produce a visible flash when triggered?

2. What's the leniency i.e. will it only trigger if you crossed the line whilst red rather than being in the middle of the junction?

Thanks in advance.

I've seen the ones near me flash when someone goes through, seems to be only once it's been solidly on red for a second or so.

Will flash, only if line is crossed and after a set period of time from being red, 1 second or so.

Looks like you may have gotten away with it if that's why your asking. If so, woohoo

If you’re in the junction past the light you will have already passed the line that triggers it

Why does that camera look as though it's leaning back in surprise at what it's seeing?

Just me?

It's on a hill if you look at footpath & wall gradient.

But it is funny to image it leaning away from an Arctic speeding to try get across before the light changes. hehe

I thought those ones in particular have an IR flash, still visible but nowhere near as much as your classic speed cameras.

It should only trigger when it deems an offence has been committed. In the case of that camera I think it's triggered by a buried induction loop in the road.
