Someone hit my leased car…
Discussion
lease car to be returned end of January after three year lease just got hit by tradesman in van. No dispute, they acknowledged their fault to two dented panels. However, the company want to use its insurance rather than cash settle the repair estimate. Lease company willing to extend but things I would now need to do a) get an MoT b) fix any advisories c) insure d) buy a warranty e) RfL f) pay extra lease costs h) get a hire car while being repaired. insurance’s repair company called and tried to book in for April…
Massive inconvenience and I just want to hand back keys to lease company which would otherwise send assessor to estimate repair cost which I am on the hook for and I would then in turn want money back from trade company.
So what are my options and how do I get trade company to agree.
