Drug Paraphenalia?

Hi all.
Just wondering if something I found is indeed from drug use - and reckon some on here will be more experienced at spotting such...
Just been moving far-too-many-to-count rubble sacks from our new house to the tip. As is fairly typical round here, there's a back yard & shared alleyway running behind our row of houses & the back of the ones on the next street. It' s secured with a Council 'Alleygate' with a communally issued key. Stops the lowlife from gaining access to the back of houses & cut down a lot of burglary when they were introduced. It's a nice enough area, not a skanky estate or the like.
I picked up some rubbish that had spilt out of someone's binbag and tidied the alley up a bit. And one of the items was the top half of a plastic bottle, looked like it had sooty/burn marks inside and with foil wrapped round the top, with a few holes poked in.
My suspicious mind pegs it as some sort of ad-hoc crackpipe - am I right or just being daft?

I did that and mentioned your name. They cracked up laughing and told me never to call again as they’ve had enough of you…FFS. I was merely curious and wanted to know if it was something a little harder than the odd spliff.

Sounds like a ‘bucket’ if the bottom of the bottle is cut off. So yes for drug use.

Been into plenty of places where you had to watch for sharps underfoot but simply not seen that before and curious if there was something a bit more serious going on behind the net curtains of suburbia.

I think the harder stuff involves spoons and foil? All I know is I've made a bottle bong eons ago and it sounded just like what you found, though I have no idea is that's also a method for crack/smack/meth smoking?

I'll keep an eye out for a neighbour dressed like Shaggy having UberEats deliveries in the wee small hours
