I received 4 NIPs for speeding for the same camera, all within a 8 days of each other. The NIPs were sent to the lease company so I received all for of them around 20 days after each offence.
The camera is on my way to and from work. I was under the impression the speed limit was 40mph, and had I been aware it wasn't, either by the camera flashing or receiving the NIPs sooner, I would have rectified my behaviour.
The camera does not flash and there are no obvious road markings to suggest there is a camera there.

Probably wanting to know if this would give mitigation regards the totting issue which 4 nips may bring (assuming already had SAC)
I don’t really see why this is particularly different from the ‘multiple in a single journey’ issue. As noted, no opportunity to moderate behaviour. That said, if the road is (to an average driver) very obviously a 30, then you would have to convince someone (mags) of this IMO

Argue that you "inadvertantly" may have exceeded the speed limit because you were not made aware of what the speed limit was. If they argue back saying signage was clear then say you were not aware you had poor eyesight and could not see the signs.

Can you give us a google map of the road? My partner recently had a fine for I think 24 in a 20, and said same as you (thought it was 30). We actually drove to the area in question, as soon as we did we saw metal signs next to road and one on the road itself. My suggestion of stopping by specsaver on the way home perhaps wasn't one of my better ideas.

My Mrs did exactly this but x 5 going to new job in one week.I had no idea until brown envelopes began dropping through the letterbox. Luckily for us she is Polish and had polish licence which they are unable to endorse.Cost us a few quid though as we had to pay the fines,fair enough.She hadn't noticed the BIG YELLOW camera on the roadside.ffs
My lodger got caught 3 times in one week by the same camera on the way home from work, 35 and 36 in a 30.
They had just replaced an older fixed camera (photos from behind, white lines on the road) with a new digital camera that can catch you in both directions.
A few days later, it was a big story in the local media, thousands were caught out.
