Hi

I was caught speeding on 9th May 2024,

got sent a NIP on the 15th May 2024 asking who the Rider was, sent back the form stating it was me, they never received this and i got sent the same NIP stamped 3rd June i sent this back recorded delivery and they received it,

I then get sent a SJPN on the 4th Nov 2024 with the speed on that puts it into the top band of punishment by 1 MPH but if that's what i got caught doing then so be it got to suck it up

Pleaded Guilty online 22nd Nov ( Deadline date was the 25th Nov ) and got email receipt

I have not herd anything back i was hoping to hear back from them at the start of Jan ( Allowing for a bit of slow pace around Christmas / New Year ) the email said

''We’ll send you a letter once your case has been reviewed, usually within 28 days.''

this sounds bit crap but its what i'm thinking, i want to book a track day as my friend keep asking when can we book a day, but if a court date pop up before and i do get a ban cannot attend the track day its a waste of time and money

what would you do give them a call and see what's going on or just wait it out and carry on until it drops in the post

Check your DVLA record online: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

Call the HMCTS national helpline on 0300 3030656. Preferably with your case number. If you can’t get through then email the national helpdesk: SJS@justice.gov.uk
