Agreed - that was nuts. Very little margin for error before it could end up hitting oncoming traffic.

I m hoping someone has passed this to West Mids Police Roads Policing unit for a watch.

Sadly it's often an innocent passer-by who gets wiped out while the culprits survive.

On a motorway people would say it’s dangerous. This is just idiotic.
Tractor or aunt Bettie pulls out.
Game over.

Close to 2000 likes as well, Jesus Christ. It's not 170mph though, I've had two e92 M3s and no way could they reach those speeds.

Why the feck would any sane person "like" such blatant death-wish stupidity?

There's an online subculture which is a big factor in normalising this sort of thing. Its rife in the Midlands.

Not 170mph, having wound one of my e92 m3s up on an autobahn to the limiter, you're not getting to 170mph on a road like that.

Started at the A39 roundabout out of Truro. I have driven that road and so many small side roads.

What do you reckon they did to the speedometer?

Could they have swapped it to km/h?

Watch closely. The speedometer shows km/h on the inner ring and mph on the outer. The needle at that point is bang on 160mph.

e9* M3 are famous for having over reading speedos but you crack on after all you've got the first hand knowledge of how fast these cars can go.

I dont think thats is 170mph.

Still fast though, and I cant imagine any car would be that stable at those speeds.
