Why oh Why oh Why oh Why oh Why oh Why don't these IMBECILES get someone like Mr Safespeed on the case?

Today program this morning spouting this 9mph over = training nonsense.

So 39 down the residential street with an inch clearance both sides and pedestrians everywhere is exactly the same as 79 on the deserted M11 at oh-dark-hundred.

Give me strength.

It's not about safety it's about compliance - hence they are identical offenses.

I have mixed feelings - as I am about to get a brown envelope for creeping over a very extended 30 limit in roadworks (something I NEVER do, but 30?) - I hope they bring it in now! But I see your point, I think it just shows how mechanised letter of the law policing is unfair and misses the point.

A cop would view the 39 and 79 very differently - that is if there were any!
