Spotted this in today's Grauniad

Short version - calling someone a Karen is boarderline racist, sexist and ageist. And it doesn't go down well at an employment tribunal.

Longer version: a lady who had been bullying and intimidating colleagues (alleged the ex employer) took her ex employer to tribunal over alledged racial discrimination of her.

amongst her evidence for this was the white people ganged up on her and acted like "Karens".

The judge dismissed her notion of racism saying the complaints against her were legitimate, and instead gave her the judgement that calling people Karen is itself boarderline racist.

Hence the uno reverse reference...

Having been on the wings of race card type ETs before now, it is good (for me at least) to see an employment judge spelling this out.

Though I suppose you can still call someone Karen if that's their name..?

I will continue calling Elon "Space Karen" because he is, especially since the hair transplant.

Yet another race grifter. There is a pattern here.

They don't care about actual racism, just looking for an easy payday.

So 'borderline racism' is OK but if it crosses the border, it isn't.

Frankly it's all bks and a waste of people's time when they could be doing something useful.

The word racism is a dangerous poison that does more harm than good.

Couldn't agree more.

See various threads for details.

THIS !!!

Some people don’t realise that the criticism against them isnt abuse, but it’s pointing out their failures and short comings.

“Our staff don’t deserve abuse”
“That doesn’t make it acceptable for them to be lazy, incompetent and not provide the service we paid for”.

To me the Karen abuse is abhorrent as I have a cousin called Karen and don't see why anyone should be associated with such underserved abuse. It is very similar to the Ginger abuse that was fashionable a few years ago.

I'm sure your white knighting for the richest man on the planet will fill his heart with joy.
