Mileage wrong on MOT history
Discussion
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, wasn't sure where to put it.
I have only just noticed that when looking at the MOT history of my car that when it failed it's MOT recently and needed work the MOT tester put the milage wrong by 1000 miles.
I had the work done and when he passed it (same tester and station) he has put the correct milage in and now it looks like it's had a hair cut.
Is there a way of getting it corrected or is it a case of that's it?
Cheers.

ked up one of mine in 2012. Entered the milage as 254021 as he couldn't see the decimal place on the clocks. The next year it was registered as 26141 so its got a massive red flag on it now.
Given the type of car and it now only having 32712 its pretty obvious it was just a mistake. I'd like to get it fixed too if theres a way though!

That's annoying, hope you can get it sorted.

This link will take you to the correct form. Straightforward process which I used recently to correct a mileage on an MOT carried out in 2008

Ive just sent the form off. It asks for evidence of the correct milage within 1 day of the MOT and it cant be an MOT certificate or a picture of the odometer. There cant be many people with something fitting that description.https://www.gov.uk/getting-an-mot/correcting-mot-c...
I sent a picture of the service sheet id done on the car 3 days before the MOT.
Its looks pretty obvious on the MOT history so hopefully theyll sympathise.

I've literally this week had confirmation back of a change I requested from the DVLA on a 2022 MOT.
Basically car went in, failed on something minor at 56k, passed following day on 36k, year after 62k.
Obvious error, raised the request form with DVLA, it said approx 6 weeks but took a few weeks longer and all sorted
