Insurance repair issues
Discussion
Hi all.
So following on from my other thread re. a recent accident I had, I have now had the car repaired & have collected it tonight. At first glance, everything looks ok with the repair but I've noticed a couple of things & just wondering if I'm being too fussy.
The first thing & the thing I'm most concerned with is they had the wheel alignment done & have given me the printout but it states the car is an M135i X-Drive but my car is a 2017 F21 M140i (rear wheel drive obviously) Not an expert on alignment but I imagine it will differ per model.
The other thing is they replaced a tyre, no idea why, pretty sure it was fine. It was a nearly new Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 6 & they've replaced with a Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport & the valve is also now leaking.
I always keep matching tyres per axle at the very least but this might be being too fussy.
Just wondered what people's thoughts/experiences are with insurance accident repairs?
Cheers,
Ben

I'd want an axle pair of tyres, pretty sure the advice from BMW is not to mix tread patterns so I'd be raising that but doing a bit more digging on the alignment question.
^^^^ Wot 'e said.If nothing else the tyre is definitely wrong, minimum full axle set.
Alignment could just be a typo, but needs confirming.
