Interesting offence -- there's quite a bit of culpable and reckless walking around Soho on a Saturday night...

Bout time the car driver didnt get shafted for it - I was waiting for the journalist to mention something about speed but for once it seems actually balanced

But when he gets out, he's gonna go out walking again, maybe without due care and attention Really, he should have to attend classes to learn how to walk properly, and should be made to wear 'L' plates. Maybe a 2 year ban from using his own legs would also be appropriate.

At the very least he should be given 6 points and a £200 fine. The standards of walking education in this country is just ridiculous. Walkers should be retested every 5 years, or at least have to go on a IAW program.

Not to mention the fact that statistics show that excessive walking is a factor in over 100% of pedestrian related injuries!

Very True, especially when stacked vertically.

Tried to work out what you meant.

In some areas of the UK, the pedestrian would be asking for "traffic calming", rather than be told what an ar$ehole they are for crossing in that place.

At least there is some sense left somewhere.
