Its right though, every copper I seem to have met recently has been tiny.
The other day I was in Sainsbo's fruit and veg aisle with Mrs FiF.
Now SWMBO is ... errr ... vertically challenged somewhat, not in extreme but she makes great play on being .....
[looks over shoulder to see if madame is nebbing... no ok here goes]
blatantly a short ass.
Anyway there we were when in walks one of our new beloved (haha) PCSOs. Mrs FiF positively towered over him.
The look on her face spoke volumes as if to say "WTF use is that shrimp going to be in a ruck?"
I give up.

Whilst it will add to the UK Police's 'Stop or I'll say stop again' comedic values I for one believe the world was too quick to judge the Segway.
If it was a concept that we embraced it could revolutionise dense urban transport. Utterly utterly utterly amazing things.
I agree, kind of.
Amazing technology it may be, but think of the health implaications of these things. People will put them in the boot of the car and never have to walk anywhere, we have enough lard arses.
Also they are currently illegal, I can't see that changing because people would use them (during summer) for short journeys and no one would be on public transport or paying fuel tax. The government won't let it happen.
If someone introduced a sinclair C5 now, I am sure it would be made illegal.
Arn't they legal so long as you keep to the road (they want a change in the law to make them pavement legal) - legislation for the Sinclair C5 specified an electric vehicle top speed of no more than 15mph, but other than that anyone over 14 could drive one, no licence, MOT or insurance needed. Wouldn't the Segway fit into the same legislation (and electric scooters too), or have the laws been changed?
WTF is a cripple buggy...?confused:

The whole idea of the segway is that is a pedestrian vehicle, more like a cripple buggy than a C5. You would not park it up in the car park and go shopping, you would ride it straight into the shop, therefore road laws could not really apply to it.
