Just tell them that the registration number on the notification is not the same as that shown in the photo. The vehicle shown in the picture is not registered to me . You will hear no more.

This same thing happened to me. The problem is that the photo image is computer read and the notification is computer generated. No one employs normal, sensible, human beings that are capable of reading a number plate anymore.

Edited to add: keep copies of your correspondence and send it by special delivery.

Yes - they should pay the same penalty for being negligent.

It's also a data protection breach - they've falsely obtained and used your personal information.

It would be interesting to know what info dvla have given them , I’m assuming horizon sent them the reg &
Dvla have given them the address , wouldn’t they give them the type of car ?
It’s so obviously wrong that it’s hard to believe you can get it wrong .

Why should you need to even bother appealing?

I would want to cause these parking scum companies as much pain and costs as possible.

Don't respond in any way and they can take you to court and then leave with their tails between their legs for wasting court time.

The law has intentionally given these parasites preferential treatment and so to beat them you still have to jump through their hoops. Even if they entirely in the wrong.

Remember it's all about profits, not justice.

It wouldn't remotely surprise me if this appeal still gets rejected. They really are not interested in allowing appeals. The tactic is they hope to scare you into just paying to make it go away.

I think that means the appeal has been submitted successfully.

Not parking but I get billed by TFL (Transport for London) once or twice a year for entering the congestion zone when I wasn’t there. Real PITA as I have to appeal, can’t just ignore TFL.
