Seen at the petrol station this morning while filling up.....

Two "Ad-Trailer" type trucks with large billboards on the rear, queued up at the HGV diesel pump. Driver of truck#1 is filling up, while driver of truck#2 is right beside him, smoking a cig and flicking the ash about. The guy was leaning right against the van, practically sitting on the tank and less than a foot away from the nozzle.

Both vans were advertising North Lanarkshire Council's "Twenty's Plenty" scheme, complete with pictures of 20 kids lined up in a row and the slogan "Another 20 reasons to slow down".

I think somebody needs to get their Health and Safety priorities right!

Perhaps "20's plenty" is referring to an anti smoking campaign?

It makes you wonder though, if that is the attitude of the driver what chance is there that he will stick to speed limits all week whilst this farcical campaign goes on?

But possibly not the petrol vapour from the spill that the person before at that pump might have made...
