Reading in a magazine today about speed camara revenue, the article stated interesting firures. Throughout GB last year, £114 million was taken in speeding fines. Of this, it costs £90 million set up new sites and run the scamara outfits. Being a non profit making organisation, the remainder goes into Tony Blair and co's pockets. So much for being non profit making!
It's not about profit making at all, it's about saving lives and how can you put a price on that.
Perhaps by multiplying 60 quid by a few million for starters but more importantly that's a few million lives saved. Just think without them the entire population would be wiped out in just a few years, now that's a scary thought but lets face it, it's science fact, the scampratts stats prove it I'm sure somewhere, I know I believe them.
