Bus Lane Infringements and Bus CCTV

Just for info......due the state of our country many buses are now fitted with CCTV with up to 10 cameras on double deckers. One of these points forwards looking at the road ahead recording several images a second.

Would you believe some councils are asking their city bus operations to use these images to "police" bus lane infringements. Clearly looking for ways to increase their revenue stream.

Been going on in London for a while. Mind you, the bus lanes in London are actually useful (apart from the M4 one) as there are lots of buses. Not so true elsewhere...
