Garmin i3 is a sat nav device and can be loaded with speed camera locations.
Anyone here used one? Any good?

They are £169 and the scamera locations is a free download.
For £30 you can get the Euro maps.

Is there anything out there that compares?
I primarily interested in scamera alerts.

oh, some useful stuff here.
www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/568999/page/0/fpart/all/vc/1

and a search on Kelkoo proves the £169 with free delivery is easily possible.

I've got one and have done this. Its not too bad, the database is only as good as whoever has put it in. It also bings if you are over the limit that it has been told, but it doesnt differentiate over direction and also occasionally thinks its on a road adjacent.

Go and get one from Argos and try it. If you dont like it then take it back before 16days is up

If i get one from argos and down load the speed camera POI (points of interest) file for it do you think Argos will still take it back?

Do you think they'll even know any different?!

Still can't decide whether to get this or a 2nd hand scamera alert (Origin B2, Micro roadpilot etc).

MODS: Any chance you could move this to Gen gassing please.
