8am on way to vmax yesterday there was a grey volvo on a bridge on M1 pointing some sort of camera and what looked like a large black metal/glass disc to the side of it pointing at the traffic.
Would anyone agree with me that ANPR operations need to make themselves known and clearly distinguisable from the scamers so as not to risk causing accidents unnecessarily?......

I guess they could do that if they are admitting that scams cause accidents.
