Norfolk's three year old Police HQ building cost. The figure staggered me, I'd have thought you could build a small town for it.

This building, (which a couple of BiB told me is *awful*) will become disused if the Forces merger goes ahead. Unfortunately, because it's a PFI, we have to pay for it anyway for 30 years, so it may become a training centre.

Cheshire spent 40 mill on their HQ.

Assuming similar construction standards to decent private homes, and looking at the approx size of it, i'd say c.£10m.

But given various comments I'll guess at £50m?!?
