Hi,
The other day I parked the Morgan in the pay and display in front of the blairgowrie library as I nipped in for 5 minutes. I forgot to get a parking ticket.

5 minutes later I came out to find I had a ticket on the windscreen and a £60 fine (£30 if paid within 14 days.)

However I noticed a problem. The car is on a Northern Ireland plate as in OIA 5847. However they had the number plate on the penalty notice as O1A 5847, having a 1 instead of an I.

Is the ticket therefore invalid as it is not the correct registration?

Thanks,
William

Clearly the ticket was not intended for you, as the registration was for another car.

Pop it into your in-tray over in the corner.

Little whisper in your ear....

Pay der thorty quid Petrick....

else you dont reply and they have a word with DVLA Colraine, even a minger can work out that number, come up with you as the keeper and then they send the notice on to him (Notice to Owner - You)and fine goes up.

Think of it as Bargain Sales Dept........
