Driving from Henley to Benson today, down the A4155 (i think), which most of is a 30 which screams out to be at least a 50 - not one person was doing below 40!

Anyway, on a straight section I saw a temporary speed camera sign propped up on the ground, so I made sure I was doing the 30 and as I came round the bend there was a scamera van.

Now the warning sign was enough distance and round a corner away to give drivers a fair warning of the trap. So is this becoming policy now due to the backlash or did I just come across a speed van operater with some humanity left in there somewhere?

The Reading-area scam vans often seem to use that minuscule sign to give you some warning. Quite handy...
