I remember hearing that someone got a ticket because he had snow on his car roof. Was this true really???

Don't think they got a ticket - they just got a word or two pointing it out ..... and went off complaining about the officer who spoke to them ......

I think if you look in Biker Banter you will see a different response from someone who was actually hit by snow or ice from a truck, I would'nt call it insane or I certainly would not enjoy a face full of yellow snow!!.

Here on the continent you WILL get ticketed if it's a large amount (say 6 inches) as this is hazardous and therefore your vehicle is in a "dangerous condition", Minimum 2-3 points and a fine!!!

Why would "I" give you a ticket, I am only saying that someone else as a motorcyclist had a valid point and made it well.

My only point is that if you clean your car of snow etc before you set off then no problemo.
