Was on the A449 yesterday between Ross on Wye and Newport.
Clear road, excellent visibility (to horizon), light traffic, very light in fact.
So what do i spy on the side of an open, uninhabited, made for oodles of speed road???
Yup a welsh w*nker scammer in his "arrive deprived" van.
Needles to say, many lives were saved by him that morning and no cash was taken...honest, its not about the cash.

With this kind of "road safety" we'll all be out of pocket and off the roads before too long, i DO hope he was proud of his mornings disgusting work, as no one else was.

Tossers, i hope he gets mashed by an artic very soon, and no i didnt get scammed either.....oh the defenses they work!

Scammers, youre giving road safety a shitty name.

While the government is certainly the major player, I don't feel that we can totally exonerate the feeble minded feckheed sitting in the van ripping off his fellow citizens.

I saw him on the saturday afternoon whilst I was heading up the A449 in the wife's chariot.

I would like to thank all the people who were travelling in the oposite direction for flashing their lights to warn us there was a cash machine ahead.

I find it very comforting that fellow motorists are signalling presence of tax grabbing speed traps. I live in the NW and have observed how high proportion of motorists now flash potential victims - seems to have increased the last six months or so - just like to good old day when motorists looked out for each other. hardly surprising when such a high proportion of the motoring public has been unfairly taxed and has points to prove it (and they don't mean prizes) - clearly demonstrates that this areas of legislation is moving into disrepute, as bad law eventually does.

Someone will be along in a minute to tell us how we shouldn't flash each other as a warning and how the cops will catch us doing it. Uh huh. Keep it up I say - I like to know if there is an accident blackspot ahead. I'll always do it if appropriate.

One of SW SCP favourite roads. They are there 'week in week' out without fail, especially on days when there are big events involving NW football teams on at the Millenium Stadium.
