Can you be done for speeding in the dark?
Discussion
Guys
On the way back from my Dad's at the weekend (him = lives on Anglesey, me = live nr. Hampton Court), I think I might have been caught speeding.
It was dark. I was on the M54 going thro Telford and it was a van parked on one of the overhead bridges. If that was a mobile revenue generator can it actually 'see' you in the dark?

Hand held laser zapper-yes I got stopped a couple of years back at 9.45pm. Escaped prosecution by pleading insanity and wimpering a lot. Did start to get riled about whether the road I was travelling on was a dual carriageway or not (it was and was signed as such but he said it was just two roads going in opposite directions), but I agreed with him cos he knew best.
I think it's unlikely Oi-Oi. I live in Shropshire which covers much of the M54 and I'm pretty sure they don't own/operate a laser device or van. I've never seen one in operation here at all. On the M54 they tend to use VASCAR and then chase after you.
I wouldn't fret.
I think we're both on BlatChat by the way :-)

It was one of those sneaky vans (I think) so it all got a bit confusing hence my question!
