As our friend from the Lone Star State states Johnny Foreigner cannot be dealt with by Fixed Penalty Ticket in UK for an endorseable Traffic Offence. Found Guilty at Court details of the conviction are sent to DVLA who create a skeleton record for him.
The wheels are slowly grinding on harmonisation within the EEC so that all will havee the same on motoring convictions, endorsements and disqualification. In fact that legislation is in being for Sec of State to notify its counterpart elsewhere in EEC of motoring convictions.
Drive whilst disqualified by reason fo an offence in France? Its on its way.
