Speeding in his kettecar most likely.
Why wasnt he banned? little sod had no tax, insurance or MOT!
Or license!
If thatd been me id have been banned...its no fair...

Just think if that guy had given my name, I'd have probably believed the plod when they said I'd been caught speeding and would have been wrongly given 3 points.

I wonder how often that happens...

It concerns me that the driver wasn't traced via the number plate. If all the Essex police are doing is relying on names to trace offenders then the police system is seriously screwed.

Doesn't matter. I lost all respect for police in Essex ever since I heard a police radio message over a scanner (not mine I hasten to add) - "What colour is the white Volkswagen Golf that has been reported stolen?"
