Censoring the BiB
Discussion
Yet another Police Blogger bites the dust ; the Met have issued a general threat. Well, that's basically what it seems to be to me.
I have no problems with Police Officers who blog (or post) being disciplined for defamatory or offensive postings, but then I haven't actually seen any of them do it.
"otherwise inappropriate" covers a multitude of sins too wide for my liking, and I suspect is meant to cover the real 'crime', that of being off-message.
It says much of why this is being done that it *appears* not to mention the really obvious no-no viz identifying ongoing prosecutions or names, unless they are already in the public domain.
Farewell, then to the ever readable http://worldwearydetective.blogspot.c
