Car park full of snow!!!
Discussion
I must say you have balls!
In the last couple of weeks you have started threads and asked what would happen if/when you get caught:
Sliding around carparks
Eating whilst driving
Jumping a red light
Road racing
Speeding on a motorway at night
and then about spotting unmarked police cars and what happens when you have to defend yourself in court!
Are you planning or continuing a one man crimewave!?

im a hypothetical person and loving the words ' what if '.
its just that i want to learn better car control in the snow and there is a huge car park near where i work but there is a plod shop just over the road facing the other way,now after a long day at work and you finishing late you know you would love to give the car park a go but just wondering what they would think?
p.s getting my case ready for court on thursday so cant wait to get in there, got all the photo's i need and am in the process of writing the questions i am going to ask!

My 2p, advice from an old hand.
Sliding about in an empty car park teaches you very little after the first few slithers.
OK yes its fun, but not so productive, because there is no pain if you don't catch the slide by
here.. but collect all by way over .........................here.
But on the road it's a different matter. On the skid pan with an instructor and cones and a sort of road layout it's a different matter. On a car park in a controlled and properly organised autotest it's also a different matter.
So be a good boy ya55erm old chap and do it properly with some guidance, and I will bet a weeks pocket money that in an autotest situation say, you'll find you ain't as good as you think you are. Not meant to be confrontational just an observation from many years of experience.
On the other hand, I do recall a certain Chevette :cough: Panda which was :cough: :cough: slithered around a B&Q carpark one snowy Sheffield night.
Hands in pockets walks away whistling innocently. No it wasn't me honest, but I do know who it was...

I guarentee you will find one!
Good luck with the court case. At least you have made the effort. Most people go on about the injustice and then don't even fight it. Remember to be respectful and wait your turn to correct any inaccuracies. Jumping in at the wrong time just winds the mags up.

with all this freash snow coming down ive got a question for the resident plod,
what would you do if you saw a car sliding around in a completly clear car park with no cars in except this one sliping and sliding doing donuts and tail slides and just two reasonable looking people?
Hope that he didnt hit a hidden kerbstone

what would you do
I can only answer for myself. I would check who you were, and if the car was yours, if you were insured etc. I'd then advise you that not all plod are complete car nuts like me, and to keep your eyes and ears open. I'd then advise you very strongly that under no circumstances were you to continue driving that like once i had gone......
Word of warning though, in my experience, very few plod are car nuts....

I was taking a straight line across a snowy carpark and managed to go over a kerb at about 30mph. Fortunately, it was in a company car.
