My friend had a letter (asking to identify the driver) to fill in from the Safety Camera bunch said he was doing 87 in a 70mph zone on a bypass.

Whats the likely outcome? Points, Fixed penalty? Court appearance? Hanging?

If he completes the s.172 form and nominates himself, then at 87 in a 70, he can expect to receive a Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty (unless he has 9 points already)- 60 quid and 3 points..

I got that for 87 in a 60 but the cop wrote me up for a FPN.
