Traffic Polis hiding behind the cars from the Renault garage coming out of Inverary heading towards Lochgilphead, also been seen a bit further along, hiding behind the residents cars on the verge closest to the Loch.

Also been seen hiding out in the bus shelter between the sharp bend and train station in Arrochar/Tarbert.

Both 30 limits so fair enough.. however..

How did I first know about these scummy tactics? Originally told by one of my colleagues about the Inverary one and saw a white van man getting huckled in front of me in Arrochar/Tarbert. Since then I make a point of going thru these areas bang on the 30(ish), not that I broke even 40 before. This is no problem to me as it is only for a short stretch in either case and the roads at either end are fantastic anyway. But it's because I know the likelihood of them being there that makes me extra cautious. Nova boy doesn't know they are there(as they are hiding) and blats on thru at 50 regardless. So surely the polis by behaving in this way show the hypocrisy about creating safer roads, safety cameras, safety partnerships and the other marketing claptrap. Surely by behaving in this way it can only be simply about generating revenue and achieving targets (efficiency ratio's .. whatever). BiB - minus mucho brownie points from me.

I saw a number of radar/laser vans in that general area last summer, all in 30 limits, so no probs for me . . .
