Red light cameras

[esselte]

Do red light cameras work as per gatso's? ie only photograph traffic going away from them or do they also work with approaching trfiic?

If they're anything like the one heading out of Hartlepool on the A689, they havent't worked since they were installed 7 or 8 years ago
