My daughter was robbed at the Reading festival yesterday. The police have arrested a few people for this. They recovered her driving licence and credit card which they have given back to her but have kept my Maglite torch and 3 packs of cup a soup as evidence.
I just wondered how I go about getting my maglite back, I am assuming the cup-a-soup will be out of date before they go to court unless the police drink it first.

So long as they don't open the packets I'd say the case is watertight!

In my experience you may have a few problems getting this back. The procedures involved and the paperwork required will take months and are lengthy, so no light at the tunnel for you. I have no idea really just a very poor attempt at shining some light on the matter.

I'll get my caggle.

Some things are just too heavy and it's kinder to keep people in the dark yes

I think this thread is pretty packed out with puns, so there is unlikely for there to be mushroom for me to add another.

(I am so, so sorry for that. Please forgive me.)

I hope they are being careful with the soup packets - best not mix them together in case of explosion, given the stuff that gets into cup-a-soups.

Poor falcemob is going to wish he never posted this thread soup, oops I mean soon, please no more stirring it up people!

Seriously though, fair play to the bib, it sounds like a good cup, damn I mean cop laugh. Give them a ring is the best bet, no point being kept in the dark, that's a mugs game.

Nah, I didn't expect a sensible answer when I posted, hence the title.
I'll just stop the price of a Maglite and cup a soup out of her pocket money next month, or would that be gruel?
