Hmm..thought he never went into something unless he was confident of victory? Wonder if he did it no win no fee! Must have cost a fortune, the case has been in court in London several times.

He said "The smell of alcohol on her breath, he maintained, was due to "alcohol halitosis" rofl

good.

It always amazes me how we can claim to have a fair legal system when you have to pay for lawyers

I wonder what his fees were for this case? I can't see how he stood any chance to win this one.

"alcohol halitosis", aka "being pissed as a fart".

Though PC Flashman ( why do they alway have these names.. PC Cashman.. Flashman .. Smiley..Smilly..Doughman.. laugh Ist there some kind of criteria in recruitment here laugh was a bit "ungentlemanly" by all account...

rofl He referred to Caprice as "scrawny" in the court.. Now that was unkind! He did not have to describe in that manner surely.. regardless of whether she'd been too stupid to register on "stupidity scale". Just "slim" would have sufficed though why he had to mention her size at all .. Was it relevant?

However, she said she had drunk bottle und half or so of wine. Slim build... perhaps no food... was not her the medication for the discomfort in nether regions which cause the problem. She ist slim build und on empty - goes straight into system. Depend on metabolism but can take about 12 hours to clear from body if skinful like that downed.

Girl should have had more sense .. rolleyes Enough literature und adverts to inform. Don't drink und if I do drink anything at all.. I do not drive car. Ist simple enough to get a taxi

Uh, you don't have to in a criminal trial. The state will provide you with a brief. That means even the chavs can still purchase a new burberry cap whilst awaiting trial safe in the knowledge a defence barrister will be in court for them, free of charge.

If you want to pay more and possibly get a better lawyer, you can.

Only provided custody is an option, usually.

Notice that Nick Freeman didn't lose this, his client did. He still gets to drive.
