They're all getting Talivans

South Yorkshire Camera Partnership has recently acquired a Talivan. A white Berlingo type vehicle with an orange strobe light unit on the roof. Reg.No. YR52 VBE. It appears to be operated by civilians, and is currently plying it's trade in areas immediately after gatsos and truvelos in the county.
The rear doors have orange/yellow chevrons with blacked out sliding windows for the camera/laser gear. Seems to be a similar door at the side for operating from bridges above motorways etc....

We have a few locally (Bristol), nice and bright until they open the rear door to get some snaps. One was parked on a restricted & built up dual carriageway (40 mph) directly opposite a gap where you can turn right.

Fcuking marvellous; car goes to turn and suddenly 10 more pottering along safely behind have to slam on the anchors. How do people like that... AAAARGH.
