Oh joy, a NIP.
Discussion
Please forgive any apparent naivety. For the last few years my licence has been the Eurovision equivalent of Norway. This now seems set to change.
NIP received from Gwent Police “Safety” Camera Unit for 64mph somewhere near (they don’t specify whether before or after) the Severn Bridge tolls in a 50mph limit.
Apparently the NIP is supported by photographic evidence – with which I’m not supplied – but the form that I am required to complete and return (have to ‘supply’ if you like) “may be produced as evidence”.
Is the advice to just bend over and fill it in?
As I said, I’ve managed to avoid this process for the last few years. Recent Googling has nonetheless enlightened me of the PACE statement and supplying all the requseted info on a letter along with the incomplete form. Much as I might feel aggrieved and inclined to do so, if the net result for me is ultimately going to be the same (or worse for trying to be a clever dick) then it’s obviously not worth it – is it?

Thanks, Sean. As I said, I've done a fair degree of reading, including on that site.
My question was more along the lines of what actual experience/results have been obtained via the approach advocated? In that respect, answers seem a bit thin on the ground.

Currently we are awaiting a decision by the ECHR so a lot of cases in court are being adjourned till then..
