It could well be.
If it is a case of some importance, i.e. a new point of law or a definition of a point of law etc.. then it is perfectly possible it will have been reported.
With some clues, we might be able to find it?
Is it Civil or Criminal? What is it about? Do you know what year? Any of the parties?

Agree many Magistrate's and Crown Court cases are not recorded but left to the local rag to report/record, also depends on the type of jurisdiction the case comes under. This following web site is a good search option www.courtserve2.net/court-lists.htm
Thanks Wings, will give that a try..
Jas&Jules..it was a Criminal case (assualt) and was about 2004 so very low-key on the scheme of things. Was just interested if this information was searchable at a later date - I guess the local rags just hound some court clerks for info on the days events...
