received a notice of intended prosecution today for doing 47 in a 40 limit whilst travelling to work last week at 6.40 in the morning.
okay, so just pay up you would say, but I`m not so sure.
1. mr policeman was,I think, just setting up his camera, he was one of these motorclyce officers who are able to park on pavements and hide behind telephone boxes ect.
2. on seeing the officers reflective coat, he was quickly getting out his note pad and making a clear visible effort to write down my registration number.
3 would he need to do this if the camera was working? surely it would all be recorded by the camera.
4. do these cameras, laser I think, work in the dark, as this particular officer is normally seen round our way just as it starts to get light in the morning.
the form I received today states that the allegation is supported by photographic evidence, but this will only be supplied at a court hearing.
are they trying to call my bluff, or should I not worry about it, fill out the form and pay the fine??
