Usual story just on BBC Look East, local plonker decides he's not equipped with the mental faculties to deal with an NSL so builds a fake speed camera.

Locals don't like it, it's been set alight already.

Local SCP doesn't like it "Could prove a distraction and cause an accident" (ABD should jump on that one!)

Despite all this opposition the BBC thinks its a good idearolleyes

Sometimes I think mandatory sterilisation is the only way....

Round our way especially on the fast biker used roads there are fake cameras about, is it illegal to do such a thing?

They won't do when the regulation requiring them to be in high-visibilty colours expire and they can all be concealed again.

It's for your own good, you know.

Not to worry it's only a £30 non-endorsable fine for not displaying your numberplates.

Christ. This is what the Norfolk SCP actually said on camera (21:30) onwards:

Norfolk SCP said:
"What does concern me is of course if people put up fake cameras, motorists could be coming along at 70, think it is a camera, brake, or get distracted and that could actually cause a collision."

HELLO?! HELLO! MCFLY?!

Nice one!

"Agreement between road safety and road rage". I suppose it's a clever line but it does again indicate the bias of the BBC.

I have thought that for a while, have a points system that takes into account IQ, general knowledge, family history etc if you don't score enough then you get done.

No, he's at 'stage 1'. Building the box.
Stage 2 is fitting a RC nitro engine and wheels to the thing and driving it past scameras at full pelt.

Actually... i wonder if their is any spare wood in the shed...
