Has this loophole been closed? Do these letter templates advertised on the net work? I was caught doing 38 in a 30 zone. It's actually a small stretch of dual carriagway.

Should I take my punishment like a man, or wriggle for all I'm worth?

Presumably you knew the limit? Was it clearly sign posted?

Then be a man and pay up. You broke the rules and got caught fair and square.

But since the prosecution will be a clear breach of your rights under the ECHR follow the Governments example and do any thing you can.

And yes the non signing idea is dead.

Wriggle! Make the persons of somewhat uncertain parentage work for it.

why does everyone caught speeding try and wriggle out? you get caught - you pay the fine - you get on with the rest of your life - easy

Have you never tried to do either of the following -
a - Tried to avoid a bollocking
b - Objected to something on principle as you believe it is unfair or unjust?

Because some feel that, though they have transgressed the posted limit by a few miles per hour, the level of harm they have inflicted is disproportionate to the punishment.

This is further exacerbated by the fact that there seem to be tons of police available to do speed enforcement (and make a fortune for their paymasters), but none available when needed (like when there's a "real" crime to be dealt with).

You see, when the overriding consideration of "safety" camera partnerships is pounds, shillings and pence, then the public will use legitimate means of active protestation (i.e. thwarting the system).

Please feel free to report yourself every time you stray over the limit.

I assume you have never video'd any show from the TV then.

If FACT had the power that the police do, then we would all be having to write to the broadcasters and pay them the fee for recording their shows... Self incrimination.

Well you weren't caught speeding then, you were falsely accused.

There aren't any options with regard to a NIP, it's a statement.

Till you get caught - then we'll hear the moaning and groaning.
