A brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evo police car Has anybody else seen this floating about?

I put a spot up a few months back. They are part of Essex Police ANPR operations, I don't think they are used for normal beat stuff. I've seen them in silver, and white. I've also spotted an Essex unmarked Saab 93 estate, and they're using the new Vectra estate now too.

I saw the evo on the M25 marked up with ANPR intercept team written on it, it attended an incident near the a10 junction so i guess they must be fairly widespread in their uses

Will it get much use overall? Don't those highly strung things need servicing every 6000 yards?

I reckon they must be 'gift' cars or heavily discounted. Bet they're good fun though. I see dozens of Essex Traffic and ANPR every week, yet very few normal response Officers.

I went to my locker at work the other day to find......................a pair of genuine antlers stuck on top! I have an idea who did it!

Deeps, I'm sure the car is very, very fast, but having never taken it above the speed limit, I couldn't possible know......

Ah i see, well this thing really cought my eye. It had pulled over a car for reasons best known to themselves. As far as police cars go, it looked pretty slick with its silver paint and small - low drag lights up on top. Cheers for the heads up about the other two unmarked cars they use. Also while were on topic about the Police and the A13....does anybody know what the white lines are for that start at Dagenham and go out to Lakeside? They've been there for a while now but still no obvious sight of a camera.
