Another SIX deaths in one weekend in Scotland alone!
Thirteen seriously injured!
When it is considered that we have a population of only five and a half million, this is totally unacceptable.
And the response early this morning from the powers that be?

"The message still isn't getting through!"

What message would that be Mr. Authority?

Speed kills? Slow down? Smile for the camera? Clunk Click? Twenty's Plenty?
Or what about the truly emotionally stunted, Think of the Children?

Or perhaps another batch of slow motion videos showing children's broken bodies being propelled through the air after contact with the front of a vehicle?

Yep!! that should do the trick! We just have to air them twice as often and it should work!!

Well I have a few suggestions!!

What about removing 17 year old children from BMWs or anything yielding over 50BHP: there were two of them killed this weekend!!

What about holding rich parents who buy them these "toys" criminally responsible for their deaths and the deaths of others that they involve in the madness.

What about banning farmers from driving combine harvesters straight out onto the A9 in a defiant gesture of their rights: the single largest source of deaths on the A9 is from farm machinery!

What about removing absonant, ignorant, "experienced" drivers who will deliberately obstruct an overtake on a perfectly safe road, or accelerate during the same, putting the lives of others in peril DELIBERATELY!

What about cutting down ALL the speed cameras and raising the driving standard across the board; and if drivers cannot pass, are not competent, take their licences away!

What about PROSECUTING roads authorities who squander their budgets in a criminally irresponsible manner on ludicrous, so-called traffic calming schemes, generating huge congestion and completely neglecting the condition of major traffic routes until they are almost undrivable and dangerous to all users.

Where the hell are the Traffic Police? How can you remove bad drivers without Traffic Police?

But what do I know, I've only about thirty five years experience at this, and what is that compared to the politicians who have no driving licences implementing vital policy; or the totally untrained and unqualified Camera Partnership "executives" making the roads safe for all.
Oh sorry! I forgot to include the word Safety with camera partnership.
I mean it's only fair we get the terminology correct; this weekends carnage has proven conclusively after over fifteen years of use, just how effective they are in making the roads truly safe for us all!!!

Camera Partnerships, lets not let a few deaths get in the way of self funding law enforcement shall we? After all it might cost money to save lives.

Sit back and wait for more cash cams to be installed then. They'll be able to justify them now under their immoral guidelines.
