I followed a trafpol Rangey onto the A3 this evening. We both engaged in some spirited acceleration up the slip road. He carried on at an indicated 70 and I went by at about 75. He sat behind me for a mile or so then whooshed by.

It set me thinking about what trafpol do when they are on patrol. Was he looking me up? Do they look up many people? How do they spot dodgy people (not paragons like me you understand)? Just curious aboiut the SOP of being on patrol.

ahhh, good point, I stand chastised, had my tablets this morning...feeling better now!

It's a point of principle really, it drives me mad when people drive so differently around trafpol...going past at 61 when they are doing 60 etc.

But it did make me wonder what they do on a patrol. Would be nice to be on patrol with them and see what we do. Any trafpol on here up for taking me out for a ride on patrol?

Got to admit that would probably be quite eye-opening.

Annoys me when you see Trafpol nicking someone in the hard shoulder, and everyone brakes to drive past at 70mph. I've rocketed by at 90mph and never been bothered.
