Saw a hell of a lot of traffic cops on there. Also saw 7 barreling south at about Junction 33 with their lights on. Don't know if they were chasing someone but there was a lot of them.

I must have seen at least 5 or 6 Traffic cops that had pulled people over, and one just outside of Leeds that was stopped on the hard shoulder with those bastard red strobe lights on, for what seemed like no reason. There was no danger, he hadn't pulled anyone over.

Also managed to make Mr. Numpty in his 12 year old Cavalier move over from Lane 2 when lane 1 was completely clear.

I think I will make my journeys along the M1 at night more now, it is sooooooo much easier and less stressful.

Travelled from Teesside to Nottingham last night, but came down A1(M) / A614, took <2 hours to do the 135 miles. (Obviously we were very lucky and just did a constant 68mph, door-to-door.)

Avoid the M1 these days, too many idiots.

i often pull over from lane 1 to lane 2 if there's somone on the hard shoulder and its clear to do so. i nearly hit a lorry driver who stumbled getting out of his cab once, and ever since if its clear i pull over and give whatever is on the hard shoulder a bit of space.

Yeah, I do that as well. Well, I say lane 2, what I mean is in between.
